Cognitive Processing Therapy
for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder
Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) is an evidence based psychotherapy treatment for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Having PTSD can feel exhausting and isolating. It changes the beliefs we hold about ourselves, others, and the world in areas such as trust, power/control, intimacy and safety. CPT challenges the way we perceive ourselves and the world around us by creating a new understanding and conceptualization of traumatic experiences.
